Walking Again
I gave up a long time ago
to walk a path of my own choosing
ya know?
I gave up in faith
I gave up in song
I was only to me
that I wanted to belong.
I turned kind of sour
and had rage within
it didn't occur to me
I was living in sin.
Now I know
that is hard to believe
but I found this place
and feel
kind of relieved.
I want to walk again
with my L-rd,
to read and cherish
His living Word.
G-d brought me here
to a beautiful place
He gave me new friends
and I can feel
His Grace.
Walking again
I don't feel so lost
I am taking a chance
I considered His cost.
3 Rusty Nails,
and some nasty old tree
His blood on my hands,
yet it is my soul He bought.
Thank You Jesus
for second chances,
